Bloody hell, this just got good.

For those unaware, Norman Osborne (head of HAMMER, formerly SHIELD) has declared war on Asgard. The biggest weapon he has is The Sentry.

And good lord, but The Sentry is awesome. I wasn't expecting this story to focus on him, and it appears to be. Violent, nasty and surprising, and totally not what I'd expected.

It's a good curve-ball. I've never liked Thor but this series is putting his pantheon to good use.

Reminds me of some of the Authorities stories though.

I.E.

A generic Authorities plot: A politically charged supervillain incident occurs, the Authorities step in, people get mashed up.

The Sentry is indeed a pretty interesting character. Mind you, I prefer Ares by some distance. He's probably my favourite Marvel character in recent years.

Still, they're both in Siege! No need for me to pick sides!
