Well the navigation is much improved and the menu's are visible from every page i've seen so far and the menu's themselves are good if a little slow.

Downloading podcasts directly from the site is far easier and seems to be unified in presentation and how you go about downloading them, in the past it was something which had to be learnt for each podcast but now it's so much easier. Better still, navigation between podcasts is so much better and more visible overall. I wish Windows was this good.

It's a little slow moving for me, but that may be part of having a slow connection. It's okay on a mobile device but the menu's don't pop-up (as you can't hover over) but you can still use them, so that's okay.

-edit: In Chrome, on the same machine, the menu's are pretty swift. I was using Firefox when they were a little slow.

There's so much to look at, I need to see it on different set-ups to see how it performs but it's looking good so far.

-edit - little bug, when you sign in via the pop up bar from the menu, you get sent to a screen that says "welcome to the registered content section" which seems completely blank and empty.

I noticed there is no more music thread in the forums. Is this to curtail on the linking to copyrighted material? I'm asking because some of us may want to post news of upcoming releases or even a What Are You Listening To Now? thread. It could also be a good place to post music recommendations.

There doesn't seem to be options relating to staying logged in or keeping cookies on the log-in button. This can lead to staying logged on being difficult on some set-ups.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a menu option to jump to reviews.

Look on the left hand side - there's an entire menu for reviews split up into all the different types of media we review.

Sorry, there's a small detail I missed when posting that. Go to any Podcast Article and that side bar disappears. You do retain the "Latest Reviews" section at the bottom but there's no menu to go to the reviews section from there. The side menu gets replaced with the podcast feed (which is great) but you loose the navigation to reviews.

Also, if you're on the forum, there's no quick jump to reviews either.

I have that problem as well. I tick the 'remember me' box every time, but it doesn't, even when using the same computer. I'm guessing it's a Firefox 9 compatibility issue, as it was the same with the previous incarnation of the site.

That was a legitimate bug, which I have now fixed. Thanks for catching it.

I've tried to streamline the forums for now, because A] they're not that busy and B] I felt that the scope was too wide. I appreciate your comments, however, and may consider restoring that section in the near future. The section and all of its posts are still archived, so nothing has been lost.

Cheers Lee. It's great to see that people are enjoying it. I even got a thumbs' up from Igniz! Although...

The "keep me logged in" option was set to automatic. That wasn't deliberate, I just didn't realise. I've now enabled manual choice. Apologies for that little error.

As for the length of time the cookie remains active... I'll look into that as soon as I can. I don't have much of an issue on Firefox 8, so maybe it is a beta/FF9 issue as Edash says? Nonetheless, I shall research.

EDIT: Our site session length was set to 15 minutes. I have increased this to one hour. This should improve things. :)

That menu doesn't appear under the Podcasts, Forum and Webcomics section (which is deliberate), but is visible at all other times. :)

I don't think that's the cause, IE remembers from one day to the next, but not Firefox 9. Not a major nuisance, but it's only site in which I have this problem.
